Wilma Lee Roark, 74, of Lynn, IN passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 19, 2018. She was born April 4, 1943 in Richmond, IN, daughter of Edward and Mollie Crowe.
As a young girl, Wilma was baptized in the Baptist Church. She attended Lynn High School and later worked a number of years at Indiana Metallic Casket Factory, retiring early in life to devote herself to family and home.
Wilma will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 39 years, Jim Roark, Lynn, IN, and her children Debbie (Herschel) Philpott, Dunedin, FL; Penny (Bart) Smith, West Manchester, OH; Kimarie Kiser, Celina, OH; and stepson, Mike (Lisa) Roark, Fishers, IN.
Wilma dearly loved all of her grandchildren: Kelly Jordan, Winchester, IN; Stephanie Hutzell, Gettysburg, OH; Conley (aka Trey) Schwab III, Chicago, IL; Joshua Hutzell, Fountain City, IN; Amber Lehman, Celina, OH; Ashley (Steve) Offitt, Lynn, IN; and Lucas Roark (Fishers, IN). She was especially proud of her great grandchildren Isaiah and Hannah Jordan-Miller, Winchester, IN; Kaylee and Javin Hutzell, Greenville, OH; LaMya Lehman, Celina, OH; Braxton, Kehlan, and Treyton Baker, and Reagan, Taryn, and Greyson Offitt, Lynn, IN; and step-grandchildren Gentry, Brady and Bode, Janesville, WI.
She will be dearly missed by her brother Charles Crowe, Lynn, IN; sisters Rosetta Miller, Bradenton, FL and Linda Albright, Okeechobee, FL; nieces, nephews and extended family; as well as friends and neighbors.
Wilma was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Fudge, stepson David Roark, parents, and sister, Betty Steele.
Wilma will be especially remembered by family as a woman of strong faith who daily read the Bible and led a prayerful life—continuously lifting up her family and others in prayer—and in her own way bringing a little bit of heaven here on earth.
