Rosalie Sue Troth, 80, of Parker City, IN passed away Thursday morning, August 3, 2017 at Parker Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center of Parker City, IN. She was born February 17, 1937 in Winchester, IN the daughter of Roy A and Ardith (Chalfant) Owens. She was a 1955 graduate of McKinley High School.
Sue retired as a bank teller after many years with the Parker Banking Center of Parker City, IN. She was a member of the Farmland American Legion #353. She enjoyed spending her leisure time bird watching.
She leaves to cherish her memory many nieces and nephews, Randy Owens, Greg Owens, David Owens, Cheryl Bolin, Cathy Milan, Patrick Owens, Linda Cavanaugh, Joe Brown, Lois Brown, Lila Cox and Bob Brown; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles M. and Lowell E. Owens; a sister, Eleanor G. Brown; two nephews, Mike Owens and Jim Brown.
A service to celebrate Sue’s life will be 3 pm Monday, August 7, 2017 at Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery of Winchester, IN.
