Richard “Dick” Leon Craw, 81, of Winchester, IN passed away early Monday morning, September 17, 2018 at Reid Health & Hospital of Richmond, IN. He was born February 11, 1947 in Eaton, IN the son of Raymond Sydney and Iva Faye (McCreery) Craw. He was a graduate of McKinnley High School of Winchester, IN.
Richard retired, as a Steel Fabricator, in 2000 after owning and operating Craw Steel Works for 13 years. He attended Harrisville Congregational Christian Church of Union City, IN.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of 62 years, Nancy (Howell) Craw; two sons, Mike Craw (wife, Brenda) of Winchester, IN and Rick Craw of Modoc, IN; two daughters, Marcia Nunez of Daleville, IN and Becky Craw of Muncie, IN; two brothers, Paul Craw (wife, Barbara) of North Port, FL. and Jim Craw (wife, Joann) of Indianapolis, IN; 7 grandchildren, Brad Craw (wife, Jill) of Winchester, IN, Megan Fields (husband, Paul) of Connersville, IN, Andrew Craw (wife, Samantha) of Prescott, AZ. Heather Richeson (husband, Cody) of New Palestine, IN, Brittany Craw of Markleville, IN. Jamie Allen (husband, Jason) of Winchester, IN and Merissa Tippett (husband, Bryan) of Winchester, IN; 13 great grandchildren, Zoey and Grant Craw, Madison and Laina Fields, Jentzen and Selah Craw, Brooklyn and Maddox Richeson, Jace and Jaxson Allen, and Brayden, Bryce and Baylor Tippett; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Rita Faye; a brother, Dave Craw; and a sister, Phyllis Hatfield.
A memorial service to celebrate Dick’s life will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Private graveside service will be at Hopewell Cemetery of Farmland, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 10:00 a.m. to service time, Saturday, at the funeral home.
