Linda Darlene Gaddis, 66, of Parker City, IN passed away peacefully at her residence, Friday, July 27, 2018, with family by her side. She was born December 2, 1951 in Winchester, IN the daughter of Vergil L. and Helen I. (Deeds) Hodson. She was a 1970 graduate of Monroe Central High School.
Linda was the office manager of Gaddis Chrysler Dodge of Muncie, IN, working for more than 25 years. She was a past member of the Eagles Lodge #231 of Muncie, IN and a member of the Farmland American Legion Auxiliary of Farmland, IN. She enjoyed spending her leisure time with her grandchildren and she enjoyed watching her grandchildren at their softball, basketball and cross country events. She had a special love for horses and enjoyed riding.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Helen Hodson; two sons, Monte Gaddis of Parker City, IN and Jeff Gaddis (wife, Cathy) of Parker City, IN; a sister, Debbie Stephens (husband, Ted) of Parker City, IN; three grandchildren, Kalle, Abreana and Kelsie; and a daughter-in-law, Michlynn. She was preceded in death by her father; a loving husband, Charles; and a brother, Bruce.
A service to celebrate Linda’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Burial will follow in Buena Vista Cemetery of Unionport, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 11:00 a.m. to service time, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
