Larry Gene Cadwallader, 73, of Winchester, IN passed away Saturday morning, June 30, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 21, 1945 in Winchester, IN the son of Ezra and Ruby (Kenworthy) Cadwallader. He was a 1963 graduate of Williamsburg High School of Williamsburg, IN. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Larry retired in 2010 after 40 years as a truck driver. He was most recently self-employed, but had also worked for the Lynn Elevator. He was a member of the Winchester Moose Lodge #1977, Farmland American Legion #353 and Union City VFW #6773.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Larry G. Cadwallader, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN and Thomas Jason Cadwallader of Winchester, IN; a daughter, Kristie Banks (husband, James) of Winchester, IN; three sisters, Jane Leach (husband, Francis), Iris Warren (husband, Dean) and Gloria Whitter (husband, Bob), all of Lynn, IN; four grandchildren, Alex Cadwallader (husband, Derrick), Tyler Spade (wife, Ashley), Brenden Poling and Grace Goodpaster. Nine great-grandchildren, Lillian, Charlotte, Temperance, Silas, MaKenna, Evie, Ava Autumn and Eli. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Tom.
A service to celebrate Larry’s life will be 12 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN. Burial will follow at Spartanburg Cemetery of Spartanburg, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 10:00 a.m. to service time on Saturday, at the funeral home.
