Leatha Lea Willen, 72, of Farmland, IN passed away Friday morning, August 10, 2012 at St. Vicent’s Randolph Hospital of Winchester, IN. She was born May 9, 1940 in Muncie, IN the daughter of George W. Ellen E. (Thatcher) McCreery.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Bill; her children, Brenda Layne (husband, Randy) of Muncie, IN Paul Helm (wife, Sharon) of Brookville, IN, Debi Bear (husband, Ron) of Parker City, Bonita Arnett of Windsor; five step-children, Joyce Rodgers (husband, Danny) of Farmland, Marcy Yuanavage (husband, Brian) of Farmland, Jeannie Willen of Farmland, William Jr. Willen (wife, Jenna) of NC, Jeffery Willen (wife, Dawn) of Farmland; 21 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a special sister-in-law, Frances McCreery. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Farrell and Bob McCreary; four sisters, Barbara Jones, Roberta Neymers, Georgiann Monroe, Eva Spencer; a daughter, Belinda Diane Helm; and a grandson, Dustin Arnett.

A service to celebrate Leatha’s life will be 10 am Monday, August 13, 2012 at Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery of Maxville, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 4 to 6 on Sunday, August 12th at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice.
