Mark D. Harris, 48, of Lynn, IN passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon, July 30, 2012, at his residence. He was born August 21, 1963 in Winchester, IN the son of Charles Verdeen and Sarah I. (Steele) Harris. He was a 1985 graduate of Lynn High School.
Mark worked part-time maintenance and janitorial care for Lynn Tool. He enjoyed the Lynn community and especially working with Lynn Community Days.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Verdeen and Sarah; two brothers, Charles V Harris, Jr. (wife, Debbie) of Winchester, IN and James William Harris of Cambridge City, IN; a sister, Karen Sue Oliver (husband, Tom) of Union City, OH; 12 nieces and nephews; and 12 great nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Mark’s life will be 1:00 pm Friday, August 3, 2012 at Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN. Burial will follow in Quaker Lynn Cemetery of Lynn, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 11 am to service time on Friday. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wilsonshookfuneralhomes.com.

I haven't seen you all, or Mark, in a long time, but will always remember him as a loving, kindhearted and very happy person. I especially remember his kind eyes his smile that could light up any room.

Uncle Mark was the most kind-hearted, gentle man I have ever met. He never said a cruel word to anyone and loved with his whole heart. Myself and my children thought the world of him and he will remain forever in my heart. Words can't describe the way I feel right now, he was more like the older brother I never had. I miss you so much..Sunday dinner and the Holiday's will never be the same without you. Rest in Peace Marky.
